MyAccountant — QA Test Cases

Manual test plans for QA testers. Each plan is written in plain English so anyone can follow it — no coding needed. Every test case tells you what to do, what a pass looks like, and what a fail looks like, with a severity guide for logging bugs.

Always test in test mode

Testing uses a test / staging environment. Never enter a real card, never lodge to the real ATO, and never send a real super payment. If you are unsure whether you are on the test environment, stop and ask a developer. Read How testing works first »

How these plans work

  • What to test — a numbered list of steps to follow in order.
  • How to test — most steps are click-through actions; advanced checks are marked 🔧 and need a developer to trigger an ATO or Beam response first.
  • When to mark Pass — the ✅ Pass if result is what you should see on screen.
  • When to mark Fail — the ❌ Fail if signs mean something is wrong; log a bug with the listed severity (🔴 Blocker / 🟠 Major / 🟡 Minor).
